After years of advocating to elected officials at every level of government on behalf of the American Cancer Society, Aimee decided to run for office herself. She was elected to the Edgewater Park Township Committee in 2009 and she was elected to the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders in 2012. As a Freeholder, Aimee prides herself on working across party lines to deliver results for her community. She has increased transparency, worked with both parties to institute single-stream recycling, restore Farmland Preservation and Open Space funding and save the treasured Rancocas Nature Center; and she has worked with her colleagues across the aisle to pass a balanced budget.
