Burlington County Democratic Candidates

James Kostoplis is a highly decorated police lieutenant with 35 years of law enforcement experience. James is a leader in the police community who understands that in times like these, building relationships between police and the communities they serve is incredibly important. His law enforcement experience has convinced him that the Sheriff's office should be a resource for communities and local governments.

As Sheriff, James would fight to bring back local training of police officers at a lower cost to Burlington county's municipalities, expand the veteran and senior programs, and work to boost morale and efficiency at the Sheriff's department.

Sander Friedman is running for Surrogate to make the Surrogate's office more accessible online and Burlington County Government more transparent.

As an attorney for 25 years, Sander has built a statewide reputation as a compassionate legal expert, helping people through difficult times. In fact, in 2010 he was named Attorney of the Year by New Jersey Law Journal for his efforts in making government more open and transparent. As a small business owner, Sander knows how to run and office efficiently, and will work tirelessly to save taxpayers money.

Reva Foster is a former corporate executive for Fortune 500 companies such as Johnson & Johnson and Warner Lambert, and holds a master's degree in microbiology from Miami University. Reva's experience in management taught her an interesting lesson: the best managers hire the most talented people and give them the resources they need to succeed, and don't let politics get in the way of making good decisions.

As Freeholder, Reva will focus on fully funding the County College and increasing accountability to cut wasteful spending.
