Democratic Freeholder Candidates to Visit all 40 communities in 40 Days Beginning Sunday
Kimberly Kersey and Jim Bernard, Democratic Candidates for Burlington County Freeholder today announced an unprecedented outreach effort. The “40 in 40 Listen and Learn” tour will take Kersey and Bernard to every community in Burlington County to talk directly with residents and understand the issues facing families and seniors.
“In these tough economic times, Jim and I felt it was more important than ever to go into the communities of Burlington County and truly gain an understanding of what families are facing,” said Kersey. “We’re going to let residents know that we’re on their side and committed to working together to lower taxes, reduce spending, create good jobs and reform government.”
“Our ‘Straight A’s for Change’ plan to make Burlington County more Affordable, Accountable and Accessible is a message we want to bring right to the residents in every community,” said Bernard. “It has never been more important to listen to the concerns of the taxpayers than it is right now. Kimberly and I want to be Freeholders who work tirelessly for every resident in Burlington County, so this first step is the least we can do to learn from the residents what issues matter most and exchange our ideas.”
The “40 in 40 Listen and Learn” tour will literally put the Freeholder Candidates in all 40 communities in 40 days. It will commence on Sunday, June 14th and wrap up on Thursday, July 23rd. Kersey and Bernard will be detailing their tour on their soon to be launched website www.changeBURLCOnow.com.
